Workshop

  • Atelier Baecker/ 3 Dotted Penguins offers in-person and online workshops. The terms & conditions apply to both
  • The attendance of the workshop is tied to the person registering for the workshop at signup and only this person will be accepted to attend the workshop, i.e. each person planning on attending a workshop must register for the workshop. For the sake of clarity, this applies to both in-person and online workshops.
  • All workshops are for attendees 18 years of age and older, unless the respective workshop is labelled to be suitable for children or teens (in the workshop description).
  • If you are late or prevented from attending a workshop due to any circumstances (including travel delays or technical issues), we shall not be obliged to provide you with a refund or to delay the start of the workshop until you arrive. This includes technical or setup issues on your side when attending an online workshop (e.g. weak internet connection, computer problems, …).  
  • If your behaviour or conduct is deemed unacceptable or inappropriate, you will be asked to leave the workshop. You are not entitled to a refund of fees in this case.
  • We are entitled to make changes to the structure of the workshop, the instructor, the mode of delivery, the date of delivery or the venue itself. In the unlikely event of such changes being made, all attendees will be notified as soon as possible.
  • We may wish to photograph or film the workshop or record the online workshop and reserve the right to do so for the purposes of using on social media, promoting future workshops, providing a recording of the workshop to workshop participants and other students etc. By accepting the terms and conditions, you give us your consent for photographing or filming you as well as making a recording of the online workshop you attend.

Fees & Cancelation

  • All tickets to the workshop are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop for any reason you may email us at [email protected] in advance to provide us with the name of a substitute to attend the workshop in your place.
  • It is your responsibility to make and pay for travel and accommodation arrangements to and from the workshop, where applicable. If you are late or prevented from attending a workshop due to any circumstances (including travel delays and technical issues), we shall not be obliged to provide you with a refund or to delay the start of the workshop until you arrive. This includes technical or setup issues on your side when attending an online workshop (e.g. weak internet connection, computer problems, …).
  • In the unlikely case we need to cancel the workshop, we will notify as soon as possible and provide you with a full refund of any fee that you have paid to us. Please note that we will not refund travel or accommodation costs for cancelled courses or workshops.

Email Communication Consent

  • When signing up for a teaching offer, such as a workshop or a course, you will receive the communication regarding your workshop primarily by email. This includes all email confirmation up front, including how to join the workshop and any communication at a later point such as how to access a recording (if applicable) or information on future course or workshop offerings.
  • When you register with the 3 Dotted Penguins/Atelier Baecker (e.g. by creating an account, registering to receive emails, including downloading free resources, or purchase any service, such as a course, workshop, etc.), you expressly consent to receive any notices, announcements, agreements, disclosures, reports, documents, communications concerning new products or services, or other records or correspondence from us and you consent to receive notices electronically by way of transmitting the notice to you by email. Liability

  • We are not responsible for any personal injury or damage to property arising from incidents occurring during the workshop. By signing up for a workshop you acknowledge that block printing and other crafts involve the use of carving tools, craft knives etc. and that the use of these tools includes risks that can lead to injury. You agree to release and hold harmless Atelier Baecker, Alexandra (Ali) Baecker, its instructors, and employees from any and all claims and liability related to any accident that may arise as a result of you or your child’s participation in workshops.
  • Please be aware of where you keep your belongings at the workshop. We are not responsible for loss of, or damage to, your personal belongings.

Gift vouchers

  • At given times it is possible to purchase gift vouchers towards any online block printing workshop organized and offered by 3dottedpenguins (via www.3dottedpenguins.com/workshops) or potential future online classes organized and offered on 3dottedpenguins.com. Any third-party offerings (workshops/classes associated with 3dottedpenguins but organized by third parties or not directly offered via www.3dottedpenguins.com) are excluded.
  • Gift vouchers are issued electronically by email. The value of the issued gift voucher is Swiss Francs (CHF) and cannot be redeemed in cash or be reimbursed. The voucher code is valid for 12 months. Workshop offerings and pricing by 3dottedpenguins is subject to change. This gift voucher is not valid towards product purchases in 3dottedpenguins’ (Etsy) online shop.
  • The voucher code can be entered at checkout of any online workshop purchase at www.3dottedpenguins.com/workshops and will deduct the value of the voucher from the workshop price.
